Ownership Training Course
Formerly
the Microenterprise Assistance Program, the Alliance
for Business Growth's Business Ownership Training Course
offers in-depth business planning and management instruction
in a classroom setting one evening per week for approximately
12 weeks every spring and fall. The program is FREE
for income eligible small business owners and prospective
owners, with a nominal fee charged to all others. Participants
have found this fast paced and highly informative training
to be extremely beneficial to the success of their businesses.

Small
Business Development Center
The
Geneseo Small Business Development Center, located on
the campus of SUNY Geneseo, provides management and
technical assistance to start-up and existing small
business firms.
Administered
by the State University of New York, the Geneseo SBDC
specializes in providing one-on-one counseling on small
business problems and offers training and instructional
programs targeted to the needs and interests of small
business persons.
The
center is staffed by professionals with the knowledge
and experience needed to provide expert counseling dealing
with the problems pertaining to the startup and operation
of a small business.
