Located just
south of Rochester, New York, Livingston County's northern border
is just 5 minutes from the NYS Thruway (Interstate 90, Exit 46).
From this northern access, Interstate 390 bisects the county with
seven exits to provide outstanding access to the businesses, attractions,
and communities of Livingston County.
With a population
of 65,000 (2001 Census), this County prides itself on a strong industrial/manufacturing
base coupled with a long-standing tradition of agricultural heritage.
The quality
of life is unparalleled. Although rural in character, the County's
northern communities are within a local call and 15-30 minutes of
cultural, recreational and medical facilities in Rochester. Letchworth
State Park, the "Grand Canyon of the East," attracts over
one million visitors per year.

Travel Availability:
Air - Livingston
County is very accessible to Rochester International Airport. This
modern airport handles over 200 arrivals and departures daily with
service provided by 12 major carriers. A modern general aviation
facility, located in Dansville, features a 4,100 foot paved and
lighted runway with complete hander and service facilities.
Rail - Conrail
and two locally-owned short line rail carriers, the Genesee ad Wyoming
and the Livonia, Avon and Lakeville, provide interconnection services
to intercity markets. Rail service is available within a quarter
mile of a I-390 exit with other properly zoned sites within 2 miles.
Amtrak passenger rail service is available in Rochester.
Bus - Intercity
bus service is provided by Trailways, Greyhound and the Rochester/Genesee
Regional Transit Authority (RGRTA). Intracounty service is available
countywide through the Livingston Area Transit Systems
