As a
business member, the Chamber is your voice in governmental
affairs. With an active lobbying effort that involves monthly
meetings with our Public Policy Committee, coupled with
four visits annually to the State Capital, the Chamber is
inside the loop with frequent communication to our state
legislative delegation. Open communication is kept intact
with our U.S. Representatives and Senators.
The
Public Policy Committee provides a means for Chamber members
to have a voice in government affairs. The Committee formulates
recommendations on positions for the Chamber board to adopt.
The Committee travels to Albany every year to meet with
members of the State legislative delegation and to present
the Chamber's government action plan.
