PROGRAMS & SERVICES - SMALL BUSINESS PROGRAMS

The Small Business Committee works in conjunction with the Small Business Development Center at SUNY Geneseo to offer a series of workshops for business owners. Seminar topics include starting up a business, internet marketing, advertising layout, and tax preparation. The Committee surveyed small business owners on the types of benefits they offer their employees.

The Alliance for Business Growth is a partnership between the economic development offices of Livingston and Wyoming Counties. The objective of the Alliance is to encourage entrepreneurship and assist small business owners throughout both counties by providing FREE or low-cost assistance in the form of:

  • Small Business Assistance
  • Business Ownership Training Course (12 weeks-3 hours/week- offered twice a year)
  • Downtown Revitalization
  • Business Financing
