Caroline herself identifies as a data enthusiast who appreciates patterns, agriculture, and biology, all of which align with her chosen field. While many seniors aim to reduce their academic load, Caroline has opted to enhance her senior year with additional math courses to refine her skills. Reese DeVito

Attending SUNY Morrisville, studying Agriculture Science and Management

Reese DeVito, ranked in the top ten of his class, serves as a role model for others. With aspirations to work on and repair farm equipment while managing a show cow business, he is well on his way to achieving his career goals. Engaging in various activities such as soccer, baseball, band, FFA, NHS, and NTHS, this young man also manages three jobs at a feed store, a dairy, and umpiring youth baseball. Reese actively participates in volunteer work, including assisting at a food pantry, playing vintage baseball, preparing holiday bags with Catholic Charities, and helping with the setup and teardown of the Livingston County Farm Fest. Praised by his Social Studies teacher for his leadership, citizenship, dedication, and strong work ethic, Reese's charming personality, warm smile, and professional demeanor will undoubtedly lead him to success.

 

Alissa Kaufmann

Avon High School and Genesee Valley BOCES Health Dimensions Program

Attending Monroe Community College, studying Fire Protection Technology

Alissa Kaufmann is praised by the GV BOCES Assistant Principal for her infectious personality, positive attitude, and maturity beyond her years. This talented individual juggles various roles as a ski instructor, summer recreation sports assistant director, and grocery store cashier, all while maintaining an impressive academic record. Alissa is a dedicated athlete, participating in soccer, alpine ski team, and trap and skeet shooting throughout high school. Additionally, she volunteers with the East Avon fire department, Catholic Charities, and as a medicine team member with Cross Over the Line Rodeo Sports. Alissa's transformative personal journey has fueled her passion for helping others; she is already a certified EMT and aspires to become a first responder. Alongside her intended major at MCC, Alissa plans to pursue a minor in sign language. Her goal of living, working, and volunteering in the Avon Community will undoubtedly enrich Livingston County.

 

Connor Rodwell

York High School 

Attending Iowa State University, studying Agronomy

Connor Rodwell's resume speaks volumes about him - highlighting his qualities as a hardworking, detail-oriented, organized team player with excellent management, problem-solving, and communication skills. However, what it doesn't mention is his humble, grateful, selfless, caring, and compassionate nature. Connor faced a heartbreaking loss alongside his community when he lost his best friend in 2023. In the aftermath, he provided support to his friends, encouraged them through the grieving process, and then took decisive action. Connor auctioned a pig, raising $58,000 with the community's generous contributions. He donated the funds to the local Suicide Prevention Task Force, setting aside a portion to establish a scholarship for the York Youth football team. His school counselor praises Connor's resilience, dedication, and compassion as qualities she hopes to see in future generations. Ranked third in his class, Connor also manages two jobs at a local farm and a hay service, excels as a basketball player, participates in FFA and 4-H, and is a dedicated band member. Connor's commitment to returning to Livingston County to work, live, and serve the community further is an asset for all.
